Welcome to Coffee Cup Conversations (C3) a provider of targeted professional development, offering a different approach to learning.
Our Conversational Learning (CL) approach is an alternative path to acquiring knowledge. It is comprised of short sessions between 60 and 90 minutes delivered in a
relaxed, casual environment. Instructors transition from a lecturing posture to being a "facilitator of a dialog" between participants. We refer to these sessions
as conversations. These conversations are normally held in a local cafe or bookstore. It's where we began!
The objective of the conversation is to provide participants direct, specific knowledge that can be quickly digested and put to use. We accomplish this by:
☕ For certain topics participants are provided material prior to the session to prepare them to have a productive, interactive conversation
☕ Having preferably 4 and no more than 6 participants per conversation
☕ Providing participants access to to go resources (materials, exercises, videos) to allow them to continue
learning at their leisure after our conversation
We integrate micro-learning and one-on-one sessions into a quality learning experience. Our conversations supplement and integrate with our
training partners' comprehensive professional development programs.
Entrepreneurial conversations consists of knowledge servings that focus on assisting individuals who are considering starting a business.
Productivity conversations consists of hands-on targeted "how-to" sessions on using popular software productivity tools (e.g. MS Office tools).
Technology conversations consists of targeted components of complex technology subject matter spread across multiple sessions (e.g. programming).
